Erica Thompson

St. Jude of Nevada

For the past 18 years, I have dedicated myself to nonprofit work in Southern Nevada, graduating from the University of Las Vegas with a Bachelor's degree in business. My experience includes launching the volunteer program for Three Square Food Bank, leading the rebranding of the Shade Tree and most recently opening the ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital office. In my current position with ALSAC/St. Jude, I have successfully launched the St. Jude Walk/Run Las Vegas which has helped immensely increase awareness, generate funds to support local families facing childhood cancer and influenced individuals to join the fight against childhood cancer. My enthusiasm for the nonprofit world is evident outside the office as well. I have served as the Philanthropy Chair for the Epsilon Rho Chapter of the Alpha Delta Pi Alumni Association, volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House, Share Our Strength, the American Cancer Society and serve as VP of Volunteers for Goynes STEM Academy PTA. I am a mother to two incredible boys and when I am not working, you will find me on the sidelines of the baseball field cheering them on or in the stands of the ice rink chanting the loudest. In my free time, I enjoy crafting and listening to true crime podcasts.
